book·lore uses the smallest set of cookies and storage we can get away with.
What we set
- Reading ribbon —
localStoragekeybookLore:<slug>:pararemembers the last paragraph you were on per book. No tracking; never leaves your device. - Auth session — when you sign in, Firebase Authentication sets
cookies on
auth.oriz.inso you stay logged in across every*.oriz.insite (book·lore included). These are first-party and essential. - Email link sign-in —
localStoragekeyoriz:emailForSignInholds your email between requesting and completing the sign-in link.
Third parties
- Cloudflare may set anti-abuse cookies (Turnstile, bot management). These are essential for site availability.
Opting out
Clear localStorage and cookies for book-lore.oriz.in and
auth.oriz.in from your browser's site-data settings. The reading
ribbon and auth will reset to defaults.
